I had the pleasure of attending a good friend of mine’s wedding this past weekend, in Corinth, NY. This is a very quiet town in upstate NY near Lake Luzernne. There was lots of greenery, much more so than I am now used to in CA, and beautiful settings against the lake, river, and mountains. The wedding ceremony and reception both took place on the family’s farm, which served as a very scenic back drop and camp grounds for some of the guests. We stayed in a tiny cottage nearby. The bride wore Anna Sui and I wore a Reformation jumpsuit…the attire was less formal and more practical given the nature of where we were. The pictures below will give you an idea but don’t really do the dramatic setting justice!
Birch and leaf alter with gorgeous field ‘runway’ behind it.
My The Reformation jumpsuit was the evening’s attire…
Sexy back shot!
We were in an uneven field for the ceremony and reception, so naturally, I chose giant platforms. These are actually old Steve Madden’s!
McCarthy Farm, setting for the wedding.
Indian statue just outside our cabin at the Elms Cottages.
Our little cabin for the weekend.
Lake view from the cabin.
Our adorable place settings!
Loved the wood flatware.
The happy couple walking each other up to the alter. I got misty.
Black and white always looks better!
